DAVe TOO went over Jesus Saves

The piece with my friend Jesus Saves is very important to me. While we may not see eye to eye on some faith topics, I love this guy. His passion for sharing the message of Jesus and dedication to following Christ are admirable. Like Jesus Saves, I also enjoy drawing my DAVe TOO tag on Priority Mail labels from the US Postal Service. It’s a free way to get up and some people are doing amazing pieces of art on them these days. This piece on canvas represents an old “Blue Top” as they are often called and the old style of Priority Mail labels are getting harder and harder to find making them extra special.

Jesus Saves and I had a discussion about whether or not going over the name of Jesus could possibly be a sin. I don’t necessarily think so, but I didn’t in this piece just to be safe.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. (Matthew 10:22, KJV)
